CampusFlow storage

Essential storage, clearly explained.

This policy explains how CampusFlow uses cookies, local storage, session storage and browser features to keep your account secure and your planner available.

About cookies and browser storage

Websites can remember information through cookies and related browser technologies. CampusFlow currently relies mainly on browser local storage for signed-in sessions, offline planner copies and device preferences rather than setting its own traditional cookies.

Our approachCampusFlow does not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking or nonessential analytics. We do not add a consent banner when there is no optional tracking choice to make.

Storage needed to operate CampusFlow

Essential storage supports authentication, session security, account separation, offline work, synchronization and safe account deletion. Disabling or clearing it may sign you out, reset this browser's appearance or remove planner changes that have not yet synchronized.

Supabase manages the signed-in session in browser storage. CampusFlow also keeps account-scoped local copies so the planner can open promptly and continue working through temporary connection problems.

Preferences on this browser

Your colour mode, app palette, font, font size and custom planner background are stored for the signed-in account in this browser. This allows the same account to use different appearances on a phone, tablet or computer.

These choices are tied to the browser profile. Another browser on the same device can have different choices, and clearing browser data returns that browser to the defaults. A custom background image stays in this browser.

Local planner data and synchronization

Courses, activities and tasks are saved to the account's cloud workspace. CampusFlow also keeps an account-scoped browser copy for fast loading and offline use. When a change is made offline or cloud saving is temporarily unavailable, a local marker records that synchronization still needs to be retried.

The cloud copy becomes authoritative after synchronization. Clearing browser storage can remove changes that have not yet reached the cloud, so reconnect and allow CampusFlow to finish saving before clearing site data.

Service providers and storage inventory

CampusFlow uses Supabase for account authentication, cloud data storage and synchronization. Browser notification delivery, when enabled, also depends on the browser, operating system and push-delivery service.

Bracketed account references represent the signed-in account identifier. Provider-managed authentication key names may vary by deployment.

Advertising and analytics

CampusFlow currently uses no advertising pixels, cross-site behavioural tracking or optional analytics storage. Planner content is not used to target advertising.

If CampusFlow later introduces optional analytics or another technology that requires a choice, it will remain disabled until any legally required consent is obtained. Rejecting optional storage will be as accessible as accepting it.

Your controls

  • Sign out to end the active CampusFlow session on this browser.
  • Change or restore device appearance from Settings.
  • Enable or disable browser notifications in CampusFlow and in browser or operating-system settings.
  • Clear CampusFlow site data through your browser settings.
  • Export your planner before clearing data or deleting your account if you need a separate copy.

Private-browsing sessions and browsers configured to block storage may forget settings sooner or limit offline functionality.

Changes and contact

We will review this policy before introducing analytics, embedded third-party media or another service that changes CampusFlow's storage practices. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
